F1 legend Ayrton Senna’s luxury villa in Portugal goes on the market for €9.5million

Formula One great Ayrton Senna’s luxury villa in Portugal has been put up for sale. The three-time world champion, who was tragically killed in an accident while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, spent a large portion of his free time when racing in Europe. It is believed that the Brazilian’s girlfriend at the time, model Adriane Galisteu, was staying at the property at the time of his fatal accident.
But now the property is up for sale – and is on the market for in the region of €9.5million. The high-quality villa is equipped with swimming pool and tennis court, as well as boasting a football pitch and a four-hole putting green, typifying Senna’s reputation as a fitness devotee.It was designed by Senna on the Quinta do Lago resort in the Algarve.
On the 113,000 acres of land, there are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, a games den, home cinema and a study, along with fireplaces. Following his death, the street of its location was renamed Avenida Ayrton Senna, ensuring that with any future owner, the legacy of the original owner will live on.
