Imola race track, the scene of the most tragic Grand Prix weekend in Formula 1 history, will open its runway to the public in honor of the 23 year anniversary of the death of the Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna.

The event will be held next Monday (1st May), the date on which the accident occurred, and will display on the track the legendary Kart with the number “17” that launched Ayrton Senna in international motor racing.

On the same day, from 4:30 p.m. on the terrace of the “Checco Costa” museum, at the racetrack itself, you will be able to enjoy the exhibition on Formula 1, where the story of Senna is told by Giancarlo Minardi, founder and former director of the Minardi team, and journalist Andrea Cordovani, inspired by the images of photojournalist Angelo Orsi who accompanied the Brazilian for 11 years.
